I loved Kevin’s post because like him, my grandfather also had a Polaroid that he used when we were little. He gave one to me for my birthday many years ago, but I can’t remember what happened to it.
This is me around the age of 4 or 5 playing that fishing game.

As a kid I was always fascinated by the Polaroid camera that my Grandpa had, the fact that you could take a picture and moments later it appeared was amazing, you can only imagine how I felt with digital came out.

By the time I could actually start playing around with film (due to cost) the opportunity for me to use a Polariod camera past, simply because of the discontinued nature of the film and the inflated prices for whatever film still exists.

Until The Impossible Project gets completed and the Polaroid makes a comeback I have found the application Poladroid to keep me occupied.

For the next little while I might go a little crazy with it.

Here are a selection of the images I took from this past LOLAfest reproduced in Polariod format.
